  • Meadowsweet may increase the risk of bleeding or potentiate the effects of warfarin therapy.

  • Flowers and seeds of meadowsweet show a high level of anticoagulant activity. The seed extracts exert equally high anticoagulating effects when administered in vivo and in vitro.
