Factoids

Blueberries are generally produced from April to October in the U.S. and the peak season usually happens in July (National Blueberry Month). Ninety percent of blueberries come from North America.

Fresh blueberries have high levels of antioxidants and are a good source of fiber, vitamins A and C, folate and potassium.

USDA research indicates that blueberries may reduce cholesterol.
